An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Show Accountant to join the finance department of Senbla Ltd and Luna Entertainment Group Ltd, part of the Sony Masterworks Live Division. In this role, you will support the end‑to‑end management and processing of venue settlements and bookkeeping for all UK shows, working closely under the guidance of the Finance Director. The approx. split of work between entities is 75% Senbla and 25% Luna. The role will focus on variety of aspects of event finance to ensure timely and accurate processing of venue settlements, supplier and customer invoices. This position offers excellent exposure to the live music industry's financial operations and provides valuable experience in event accounting processes.
What you'll do:Book keepingProcessing supplier invoices and weekly BACS payments and setting up new supplier accountsRaise customer sales invoices, chase debtorsProcessing monthly credit card spends, Revolut spends, ensure all receipts are receivedMonitoring and reconciling, supplier statements, credit cards and show floatsMonitoring supplier and debtor month-end positionsPerforming bank reconciliations across multiple bank accountsOverseeing the Accounts inbox, respond to finance-related queries from suppliers and budget holdersSupporting year-end audits
Show Settlement AccountantChase final venue settlements for all showsLiaise with Promoters and budget holders when queries arise during settlement processReview venue settlements upon receipt and post to the Xero accounting systemMaintain accurate records of settlement status and processing progressEnsure all venue settlements are processed by month-endProvide monthly status reports on settlement processing to FDMaintain clear audit trail of all settlement activities and approvalsAssist FD and Operations team with updates to show P&LsSupport FD with preliminary Show reconciliationsIdentification and resolution of issues where they ariseApply a continuous improvement mind-set to identify or support development of robust and efficient processes and system improvementsDevelop strong relationships within finance and the wider businessWho you are:At least 2 years' experience in concert promotions, event management or music industry finance.
