Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Location: Limerick

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team within the Equipment department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technician schedules, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and overseeing equipment maintenance activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The applicant will understand and execute the key Business Objectives associated with the role under the headings of Safety, Quality, Output, and Value for Money.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:

* Manage technician holidays and shift coverage.
* Conduct 1:1 reviews with team members.
* Carry out performance discussions.
* Liaise with the training coordinator to create and improve training plans for team members.
* Maintain training records and ensure compliance with STAR and other training requirements.
* Conduct interviews for new technicians.

Safety Management:

* Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).
* Respond to ERT alerts and safety concerns across the fab, subfab, and mezzanine.
* Complete incident reports.
* Manage work permits, including approval and gas/fire sensor isolation.

Equipment Maintenance:

* Attend manufacturing bunker meetings and liaise with the production supervisor on equipment priorities.
* Document shift handover reports.
* Coordinate maintenance work with external contractors and facilities groups.
* Manage preventive maintenance (PM) task lists across workcentres.
* Initiate escalations and call-outs for critical equipment issues.
* Scrap ownership, investigation, and diagnosis.
* Work closely with the Equipment Engineering & Days/Evenings Technicians to meet & exceed the Department & Site KPIs.

Performance Management:

* Achieve shift and departmental KPIs, including Shift Activity, MTTR, MTBF, Tool Availability, and Costs.
* Manage cover and overtime budgets.
* Manage daily on-shift activities, prioritize and allocate resources effectively for PMs and UMs.
* A strong base knowledge of the complex activities and interactions involved across cleanroom operations.
* Recognised technical expertise.
* The ability to influence reports in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated problem-solving knowledge, skills, and execution.
