Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned EHS professional to fill the role of Projects Safety Advisor.
* This position involves ensuring compliance with safety requirements, supporting project teams on site, and implementing documentation, procedures, and quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A third-level qualification in Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
* Minimum of 5 years experience in an EHS role, preferably within the biopharma, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sector
* Proactive approach to risk management, with a focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
This role requires the following responsibilities:
1. Ensure PSDP/PSCS compliance by identifying hazards that designs may present during construction and subsequent maintenance, completing design risk assessments
2. Communicate necessary control measures, design assumptions, or remaining risks to the PSDP so they can be dealt with in the safety and health plan
3. Carry out continuous assessment and audits to ensure compliance within the Site Projects Group
4. Work with Project Managers on Construction H&S Plans
5. Advise on all aspects of the Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations
6. Manage the design safety risk assessments program
7. Audit and metricate projects safety files
8. Train project engineers and project managers
9. SUPPORT SAFETY INCIDENT INVESTIGATIONS
