Welding Process Specialist – Northern England, Scotland & Ireland

Position Overview: As a Welding Process Specialist, you will support ESAB’s commercial sales operations in Northern England, Scotland & Ireland by providing technical expertise and product demonstrations for flow business products (filler metals and welding equipment). Sales will occur through distributors or direct accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand customer base and market competition.
• Stay updated on ESAB product differentiation.
• Provide sales support and conduct product demonstrations.
• Recommend welding process improvements and resolve customer issues.
• Train sales teams and distributors.
• Maintain demo products and share feedback with Product Management.
• Utilize CRM tools and adhere to commercial standards.
Key Objectives:
• Product demonstrations.
• Customer problem resolution.
• Sales team and distributor training.
Qualifications:
• Reside in Northern UK; full UK driver’s licence required (travel 3–4 days/week), overnight travel may be required.
• Fluent in English.
• Welding experience required.
• Secondary school education in Technical/Engineering subjects.
• 5+ years of experience with strong welding knowledge and cross-functional teamwork in a multinational organization.
