Kildare Contract: 40 hours per week Salary: From 38,000+ DOE The Vet Office is recruiting a Head Veterinary Nurse (RVN) for a brand-new, bright, and fully equipped small-animal hospital opening in Celbridge .
The clinic is ideally located beside Tesco and Costa Coffee, offering ample parking and sitting within a thriving, fast-growing community.

The Role The clinic is seeking a confident, organised, and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to lead the nursing and ACA team.
The right candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong clinical standards, and genuine enthusiasm for creating an outstanding patient and client experience.
You will be instrumental in: Establishing clinic protocols Setting up workflows Mentoring junior nurses and ACAs Building a positive, supportive, forward-thinking team culture Creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients and their pets About the Clinic This new purpose-built hospital has been designed with both patients and staff in mind.
Facilities include: Two spacious waiting rooms (including a cat-only area ) Three fully equipped consultation rooms Two modern surgical suites A dedicated dental suite An X-ray/imaging room Separate dog and cat wards for optimal patient comfort A bright, professional layout that supports efficient workflow and excellent care Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and inspire the nursing and ACA teams Maintain and implement high standards of nursing care Assist in establishing protocols, systems, and best practices Provide mentorship, support, and training to junior team members Promote a warm, professional client experience Support the clinical team in consults, surgery, imaging, and inpatient care Help ensure smooth daily operations, stock control, and equipment maintenance Contribute to building a positive workplace culture Requirements Qualified and VCI-registered Veterinary Nurse Leadership or senior nursing experience preferred Strong organisational and communication skills Genuine interest in building and developing a new clinic Passion for patient care and collaborative teamwork Whats on Offer 38,000+ DOE Full-time contract: 40 hours per week Brand-new, purpose-built facilities Supportive clinical environment with opportunities for CPD A leadership role with real influence on clinic culture and standards Excellent location and modern working conditions How to Apply Interested candidates can apply through The Vet Office .
