Position Description
Key leadership position with a fast-growing, large construction firm with HQ in Ireland. Reporting to the Finance Director key aspects of role will involve:
Leading multi-country financial reporting
Audit coordination, tax and regulatory compliance across European operations
Supporting new-market set-ups
Driving process improvement and automation across finance and compliance activities
Leading and managing a team to deliver timely statutory accounts, management reporting and financial submissions across all jurisdictions.
Coordinating with tax, payroll and operations teams to ensure on-time VAT, CT, payroll and other statutory filings.
Act as key liaison with internal specialists and external advisors across Europe
Strong systems and ERP experience with an interest in automation.
Candidate Background
Ideal candidate will have the following background:
Qualified accountant with 6+ years' PQE, Big 4 or Top 10 audit training background strongly preferred
Strong Technical Accounting skills, IFRS and FRS102
Excellent team management and leadership skills
Strong academic track record
Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder communication skills
High accuracy, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Highly organised, delivery-focused and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
