Strategic Finance Operations Manager
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and take on key responsibilities in finance operations management.
* The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated solutions that enhance process efficiencies within finance operations and across the broader finance function.
* They will work closely with underwriters, operations, and project management teams to embed new products and distribution channels within finance processes in a controlled and scalable manner.
* As part of this role, the individual will manage and support junior team members by reviewing their output and providing guidance and feedback.
* Reconciliations will also be a key focus area, with the successful candidate ensuring they are completed on time and outstanding actions are thoroughly investigated and resolved.
* Contribution to group systems implementation is another critical aspect of this position, involving impact assessment, process definition, and UAT of same.
* Additionally, the individual will collaborate across functions to document end-to-end processes covering key finance operation processes and controls.
* Supporting internal and external audit teams on operational finance matters will also be a key responsibility.
* Working with the tax team and outsource providers to ensure accurate and timely IPT submissions will be essential.
* Furthermore, collaboration with the treasury team to optimize processes for payment processing with appropriate disbursement controls and anticipating large receipts or disbursements will be a key deliverable.
