The Clinical Business Development Manager will play a key role in driving occupancy, building strong referral pathways, and developing strategic partnerships while ensuring a clinically informed approach to service delivery.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies to increase occupancy and service growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
Identify new business opportunities and referral streams across Ireland.
Support the admissions process and ensure a seamless client journey.
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to align business goals with quality care delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics.
Represent the organisation at networking events, meetings, and industry forums.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management.
Requirements
Clinical background (Nurse, Allied Health Professional, or similar).
Proven experience in business development, ideally within healthcare or nursing home settings.
Strong knowledge of the Irish healthcare system and referral pathways.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a nationwide territory.
Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
