Accounts Payable Analyst

Overview of role:
UPMC are recruiting an Accounts Payable Analyst on a 24-month fixed term contract.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•Working as a member of the AP team, to process invoices and undertake other related AP tasks for UPMC group companies.
•Maintain vendor master data.
•Reconcile vendor balances and respond to vendor queries.
•Ensure adherence to three-way match principles for all purchases.
•Assist in preparation of files for Revenue reporting on VAT, Intrastat etc.
•Ad hoc monthly reporting tasks
•Support internal/external audit
•Support Project implementation
•Constantly looking for ways to improve processes and add value to the function.
Qualifications & Experience:
•Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable experience.
•Qualification in Finance/Accounting or studying to obtain qualification.
•Understanding and experience of the Healthcare or Manufacturing
•Understanding of their specialism typically gained through training and significant practical experience.
•Previous experience with Monthly Reporting
•Previous experience with Statutory Financial audit
