We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team in Athlone.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform vehicle servicing and diagnostics with efficiency and accuracy, meeting dealership standards.
* Communicate effectively with the parts department for needed parts, inform workshop manager if a vehicle is awaiting parts, and pursue special orders when necessary.
* Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs following customer authorization. Document all warranty or requested work on job cards accurately.
* Carry out regular vehicle health checks to identify potential safety issues requiring service or repair work notification of service advisors immediately if additional work is required beyond the original job scope not completed within promised timeframes road-testing vehicles after completion checking quality of performed work attending factory-sponsored training classes maintaining clean workspace adhering to company policies procedures technical bulletins requirements
