EHS SpecialistPermanent | Full-Time - on site | €75k - €85k with excellent benefitsDublin City CentreWe are hiring an experienced EHS Specialist for this leading organisation with a complex infrastructure footprint. You will take responsibility for the Environmental, Health & Safety performance of their organisational infrastructure. This role focuses on the safety, compliance, and continuous improvement of the systems, facilities, and operational environment that support the organisation's core activities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate operational and compliance EHS duties across the organisation's infrastructure.Ensure full EHS compliance with all applicable regulations, statutory requirements, and internal company policies.Maintain, review, and update the register, ensuring alignment with legislative changes.Lead the development of EHS objectives and contribute to shaping the organisation's wider EHS management strategy.Provide specialist EHS advice to engineering services, facilities teams, and infrastructure functions.Develop, implement, and review risk assessments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Safe Systems of Work Plans (SSWPs).Conduct thorough incident investigations, drive corrective actions, and support continual improvement.Oversee emergency management planning, ensuring readiness and resilient procedures.Deliver EHS training and onboarding for new staff and ongoing competency development for existing employees.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, and 3rd-party operators, ensuring alignment with safety expectations and promoting a positive EHS culture.Drive contractor management, including prequalification, onboarding, compliance checks, and performance monitoring.Promote and embed a strong safety culture across the organisation's infrastructure and operational environment.You will have:A formal third-level qualification in EHS (essential).Minimum 5 years' experience in an EHS role within a complex operational, engineering, or facilities/infrastructure environment.Strong working knowledge of EHS legislation, compliance management, and safety management systems.Excellent communication, advisory, and stakeholder engagement skills.Demonstrated experience in contractor management and regulatory liaison..Apply below with your CV for immediate consideration
