What You Can Expect In this role, you will be responsible for providing manufacturing engineering services to support cellular manufacturing and timely new product introductions.
This includes process development, cell management, tool design, and CNC-programming.
How You'll Create Impact
• Conducting feasibility studies to estimate product cost and analyze capital equipment, capacity and capability requirements affecting the make versus buy decision
• Establishing process methods which meet performance and quality requirements
• Establishing preliminary bill of materials and routers
• Developing a wide variety of applications, including machining, finishing, forging, casting, thermal processes and molding
• Negotiating target completion dates with other departments
• Developing and maintaining appropriate budgets

• B.S. in mechanical, industrial engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing environment / proficiency in manufacturing and new product processing

• Working knowledge in control procedures (such as SOPs), drafting standards and geometric dimensioning
