Join the team at Arboretum Leighlinbridge, where our award-winning café is a key part of the customer experience. We're currently looking for a dedicated and energetic Café Assistant to support day-to-day operations and help create a warm, efficient, and enjoyable environment for all our guests.
Your Role:
As a Café Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our café—from serving food and managing tables to supporting the kitchen and barista teams. You'll bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach to everything you do.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve food and beverages efficiently providing a positive customer experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the café floor, service areas, and self-service stations
* Assist in clearing tables and resetting for the next customers
* Support the kitchen and front-of-house teams with general duties
* Replenish stock and monitor supplies during service
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all times
* Ensure every customer receives a warm and helpful experience
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
* A helpful, approachable, and team-focused attitude
* Good communication skills and a calm, professional manner
* The ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
