Senior Instrumentation Lead
Job Summary:
This is a senior engineering position responsible for technical leadership across all instrumentation systems, equipment obsolescence, upgrades, and reliability. The role involves managing site calibration programmes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Develop and manage the site calibration programme, ensuring adherence to global health authorities and regulations.
* Provide expert guidance on instrumentation systems, including reliability, maintenance, and technical documentation.
* Lead improvement initiatives to strengthen maintenance and reliability functions.
* Deliver training and support to the team on new technologies, calibration standards, and maintenance best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the site's instrumentation portfolio, overseeing maintenance and capital projects.
* Coordinate site audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Support equipment specification, selection, and lifecycle management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
* Level 8 degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Proven expertise in leading site calibration programmes and instrumentation systems.
* Strong knowledge of EU directives, engineering standards, and quality assurance processes.
