This role has full responsibility and accountability for the engines-related business sector, driving strategic and commercial activities across all aspects of engine acquisition, trading, marketing/remarketing and lease‑back transactions. The position is required to work with internal departments to manage origination, valuation, pricing, risk assessment and market intelligence initiatives to support investment decisions and maximize value from the engine-related transactions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Origination & Deal Development
Originate and support engine acquisition, trading, marketing/remarketing and lease‑back opportunities, contributing to deal pipeline development and revenue generation.
Monitor global engine market trends, maintenance economics, and supply‑demand dynamics; maintain current benchmarks on engine values, shop visit costs, and maintenance programs.
Technical & Financial Analysis
Work closely with the technical team and prepare maintenance cost forecasts to support investment committee decisions and deal structuring.
Develop engine valuations, pricing recommendations, and financial models based on engine type, age, utilization, maintenance status, and market conditions.
Support execution of aircraft and engine acquisitions, disposals, trades, and lease‑backs, including contract due diligence, bid strategy, and negotiation.
Work closely with legal, technical, and commercial teams to optimize transaction outcomes and risk allocation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Management, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 8 years’ proven experience in engine valuation, pricing, or technical‑commercial analysis within aircraft leasing, engine trading, MROs, or OEM environments.
In‑depth knowledge of commercial aircraft engines, maintenance reserves, and lease agreement structures.
Strong communication skills with ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders at a senior level.
Excellent English proficiency; proficiency in additional languages is considered an advantage.
