Key Duties & Responsibilities 1. Work to deliver the budgeted sales revenue for the hotel across all revenue generating departments while proactively managing all aspects of the Sales & marketing role through appropriate communications of all necessary details to all relevant departments. 2.Devise and implement the overall strategic sales and marketing plan for the hotel and actively monitor its progress in terms of achieving KPIs, budgets and revenues. 3.Liaise with the General Manager and Great National Head Office in adopting price strategies across the hotel. 4.Develop and nurture relationships with our key corporate clients and have an in-depth knowledge of all our business providers and their needs. 5.Analyse current markets and source new markets while identifying potential clients and securing new corporate accounts. 6.Execute tour series contracting. 7.Ability to execute effectively a focused marketing plan, and to strengthen our brand identity and engagement in particular the promotion of the food & beverage offerings in the locality through designing and overseeing sales and marketing activities for the food and beverage outlets. 8.Organise and conduct site inspections and familiarization trips in conjunction with the Hotel team. 9.Manage the number and performance of third party and promotional websites and liaise with providers in ensuring optimisation of the hotels online position. 10.Proactively monitor the Hotels profile on the various social media platforms and ensure appropriate responses are posted in a timely fashion. 11.Conduct weekly snapshot meetings with the hotel team and update on activities/sales to date and plans for the weeks ahead. 12.Present sales, revenue and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team on a monthly basis. 13.Actively participate in and represent the hotel at consumer trade fairs, mall promotions and tourism events both at local and national level. 14.Organise on and off-site client entertainment as the business requires. What we are looking for: 1.At least 3 years plus experience with a proven track record in achieving targeted sales in the hospitality/tourism field. 2.Relevant degree/diploma in Sales Marketing or equivalent. 3.Commercially focused, have the ability to analyse market data and be results-driven. 4.Articulate, confident communicator at all levels, both with colleagues and clients. 5.Strong understanding of digital marketing, including web analytics metrics and tools. 6.Ambitious, creative and the ability to influence decisions. 7.High level of customer focus and understanding. 8.Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
