At Dornan we are currently recruiting for a Calibration Technician to work on a large Bio-Pharmaceutical project in the Dublin.
Your day to day will include:
* Liaise with client representative, take instruction and execute preventative and scheduled maintenance tasks as required.
* Work with client CMS system for executing and recording calibrations.
* Work to, understand and follow SOP's to the letter and intent set out.
* Strong work ethic and integrity with good attention to detail when recording data and results.
* Manage and prioritise workload to ensure that assigned activities are completed effectively and on time.
What we are looking for:
You will be required to complete a wide range of calibration and instrument and control maintenance tasks. Works will include calibration of various process and BMS instrumentation including Temperature, Flow, Pressure, Analytical and various other sensors and measuring devices. The candidate must have good problem solving skills and be able to trouble shoot problems back to the DCS or local control.
* Candidates must have an electrical & Instrumentation or instrument craft certificate. Or also a suitable Higher certificate in instrumentation measurement and control. Electrical craft with calibration experience and supplementary training or certification would be acceptable.
* Calibrated a range of process instrumentation, be able to set up and program devices using hand held communicators or stand alone instrument setup.
* Understand P&ID's and be able to read schematic drawings and loop sheets.
* Fault find and repair controls and automation interfaces to DCS and PLC's.
* Proven experience in pharmaceutical GMP environment, attention to detail and clean recording GDP are essential.
