Occupational Health Administrator Role Summary

The Occupational Health Administrator is a vital member of the team, responsible for providing administrative support to the Occupational Health Department. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks, including coordinating assessments, weekly reports, and supporting onsite audits. You will also be involved in organizing employee health surveillance and medical appointments, managing departmental administrative tasks, and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Organize and coordinate employee health surveillance and medical appointments.
2. Manage departmental administrative tasks, including filing, tracking data, and maintaining records.
3. Populate and trend data using Excel spreadsheets under the guidance of the Occupational Health Nurse.
4. Maintain and update internal policies, procedures, and health-related documentation systems.
5. Support the planning and execution of health promotion activities and wellness initiatives.
6. Liaise closely with the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team to coordinate assessments and activities.
7. Compile and update weekly departmental reports.
8. Assist in the preparation and support of all onsite audits and inspections.

Requirements:

This role requires a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in OH administration or medical administration, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, as well as high attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
