Our ethos is built on mutual respect between children and practitioners, a deep sense of belonging, and the belief that children are always paramount in everything we do.We are now seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Educator to join our close-knit team and help us continue providing exceptional care and education for local families.Key Responsibilities:Plan, implement, and evaluate activities guided by the Aistear and Síolta frameworks.Observe, assess, and document children's development through observations, learning stories, care plans, and assessments.Support each child's emerging interests and individual learning journey.Collaborate with external professionals such as speech and language therapists, psychologists, and support agencies where needed.Maintain accurate records and be confident in meeting requirements for Tusla and Department of Education inspections.Foster positive behaviour management through kindness, patience, and understanding.Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.Ensure full compliance with Tusla Early Years Regulations and Health & Safety standards.Requirements:Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 6 preferred).Excellent understanding of Aistear, Síolta, and child development.Experience in inspection preparation and compliance.Genuine passion for early years education, with a kind, patient, and reflective approach.Knowledge of positive behaviour management, child protection, and Health & Safety best practices.What We Offer:A warm, inclusive, and supportive working environment.Opportunities for professional development and growth.Competitive hourly rate of €17 per hour.The chance to make a meaningful impact within a small, well-respected community service.If you share our passion for early years education and want to be part of a setting where every child is celebrated and supported, we would love to hear from you.Job Type: Part-timePay: €17.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 15 per weekWork Location: In person
