Your New Role
As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of complex residential or mixed-use developments. You will be responsible for overseeing engineering operations on-site, ensuring technical accuracy, and supporting the site management team in delivering projects to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and coordinate all engineering aspects of the construction site
2. Interpret technical drawings and specifications, ensuring accurate implementation on-site
3. Supervise subcontractors and site engineers, providing guidance and technical support
4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
5. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure work meets design and regulatory standards
6. Liaise with design teams, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical issues
7. Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
8. Support the planning and sequencing of construction activities to meet project milestones
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
9. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a site engineering role, with at least 2 years at senior level
10. Proven experience working on residential or mixed-use developments
11. A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
12. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
13. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
14. Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Total Station, GPS systems)
15. A proactive and detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
