Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient inventory management, conducting regular audits to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement, using inventory management software to track and analyze inventory levels, forecasting supply needs and managing damaged inventory, and optimizing logistics to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records
* Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth inventory management processes
* Conducting regular inventory audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
* Using inventory management software to track and analyze inventory levels and make informed decisions
* Forecasting supply needs and developing strategies to meet those needs
* Managing damaged or obsolete inventory and implementing procedures to prevent future occurrences
* Optimizing logistics and supply chain operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency
Requirements:
* 2-5 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or a related field
* Experience with forecasting and supply chain analysis
* Good understanding of inventory management practices such as ABC analysis and cycle counting
* Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g. ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel
* Qualification in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
