Our client is seeking an experiencedDirector Fund Operations (AIFM)to lead operational aspects of private market funds domiciled in Ireland. The ideal candidate will thrive in a standalone leadership position, overseeing fund operations and ensuring compliance with financial and legal requirements. The role is based in the city centre and offers one day a week from home.ResponsibilitiesSupervise all aspects of financial reporting, including NAV review, tax obligations, and external audit coordination for fund entities.Oversee liquidity management, encompassing cash flow forecasting, monitoring compliance and executing fund transactions such as capital calls and distributions.Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards, ensuring adherence to the Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA) and keeping abreast of relevant regulatory developments.Collaborate with the Investor Relations team to prepare quarterly investor reports and address client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers—including fund administrators, auditors, and depositaries—to ensure smooth operational processes and reporting accuracy.Candidate requirementsA minimum of 10 years' experience in fund operations, with a strong background in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).In-depth understanding of Central Bank and EU regulatory frameworks governing AIFM entities and their managed funds.Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including cash flow planning, RCF management, and execution of fund-related payments.Proven experience in financial reporting, audits, and valuations, alongside sound knowledge of tax structures and ESG compliance standards.
