Our Ecommerce Product Manager Role
1. Product Strategy and Vision
* Develop and execute the ecommerce product strategy aligned with company goals.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
* Manage the relationship with 3rd Party Product vendors including affiliates to ensure KPIs are met.
* Drive measurable customer and business value by identifying, prioritizing, and delivering impactful product enhancements across digital commerce platforms.
2. Product Development
* Lead the end-to-end ecommerce product development process from ideation to launch.
* Work closely with UX/UI designers and journey teams to create user-friendly and visually appealing product pages.
* Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of new products.
* Project Management: Manage product development timelines and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Coordinate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to support product launches and campaigns from a technical perspective.
* Monitor and report on the performance of digital products, using data to drive improvements.
3. Customer Experience
* Work with the Human Centred Design team to identify journey enhancements and overall shop experience.
* Implement A/B testing and other methods to continually improve product offerings.
* Gather and analyse customer feedback to inform product enhancements.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting
* Utilise analytics tools to track product performance, sales, and customer engagement.
* Generate reports and insights to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments at all levels in the organisation.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure success.
5. Affiliates and Partnerships
* Optimise current affiliate partnerships to drive conversion, taking a Digital First approach.
* Monitor and report on affiliate performance.
* Identify new profitable partnerships, onboard with key stakeholders across the business.
6. Marketplace
* Act as a SME to inform decision making that ensures achievement of the Vision.
* Support in the development and innovation of products and proposition to create a step change in online commercial performance.
Key Skills and Qualifications
The skills we are looking for include:
* Exceptional communication skills including PowerPoint.
* Strong Commercial acumen and the ability to tie back action to margin improvement.
* Workshop facilitation skills and the ability to bring the organisation on the journey.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, the ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation.
* Strong commercial awareness, understanding of market trends.
* Passionate about learning with an understanding of Jobs to be Done, Consumer Psychology and best practice customer journeys.
* Project Management Expertise, ideally in an Agile environment.
* Excellent strategic planning and business analysis skills.
* Familiarisation with JIRA, MIRO, A/b Testing and GenAI technology is advantageous.
