IT Security Systems Administrator – Contract RoleStelfox is working with a key client to hire an experienced IT Security Systems Administrator for a 6-month contract (with strong extension potential). This role is based in Dublin with a hybrid model - 3 days onsite required.Key ResponsibilitiesLead infrastructure-related cyber security initiatives in a 24x7 environmentDesign scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutionsManage vulnerability remediation and patchingDeliver high-quality documentation for audits and complianceImplement high availability and disaster recovery strategiesCollaborate with application teams to ensure secure, high-performing systemsMentor junior team members and support escalationsMonitor infrastructure performance and ensure SLA adherenceContinuously improve processes, resilience, and failover planningSkills and Qualifications:5+ years’ experience in Microsoft technologies within large enterprise environmentsStrong expertise in Windows Server (2019/2022/2025), Active Directory & Group PolicySolid understanding of networking, security principles, and backup solutions (NetBackup a plus)Certifications such as Security+, MCSA/MCP, or CCNAExperience with VMware, Linux (RedHat/OEL), or automation tools (Python, Ansible) is advantageousStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsExperience working within ITIL or structured environmentsSecurity+ or Microsoft Certified Information Security Administrator Associate (M365/Azure focus preferred)If you are interested in this role, click 'apply' to send an updated copy of your CV to Honey Rathore or email honey@stelfox.com for more details.
