Functional Purpose:
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Marketing plan. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for providing support across a range of projects. Candidates should be detail-oriented and highly motivated, with the ability to think practically, adapt quickly and work well within a team. Excellent writing skills and analytical abilities are essential. This position will be based in our Oranmore HQ, Co. Galway.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Work with Global Marketing Manager to support the marketing mix needed to deliver a profitable 5 year global marketing strategy for a portfolio of brands in the garden care, agri & veterinary spaces. Responsibilities include marketing coordination of promotional activities, content generation for campaigns, social media strategy and content development and general administration support to the marketing and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the marketing manager on the development of the marketing plan including print media, radio advertising, PR, events and digital content.
* Support in the implementation of the marketing plan with key emphasis on concepts and design for advertising and POS, social media and digital content.
* Social media– creation of social media plan, implementation and overall management of Hygeia social media, both IE & UK accounts.
* NPD - Involvement in product development process for future seasons, this process would involve desk and field research and identification of marketing trends
* Point of Sale Material (POS)- Work closely with the marketing team and Sales Reps on the development, delivery & evaluation of the current POS process, develop proposals to address/exploit & execute agreed plans
* Influencer management– identifying key people within the industry and engaging with them as well as building relationships with existing influencers we work with.
* Website - support development of the existing brochure website with seasonal content refresh as well as new product additions and regular blog content.
* Email Marketing– Develop a strategy for the implementation of email campaigns for retail and end users.
* Retailer relationships- Develop and build relationships with key accounts and supporting their team when necessary.
* Market research– Researching industry trends and understanding the market and where it is heading.
* Customer experience – support the marketing manager in building out the customer journey.
* Business development – working with the sales and marketing team to establish new sales channels in foreign markets.
Requirements
* Degree qualification in marketing, business or related industry
* Previous marketing experience and/or desire to learn and grow within the marketing field
* You have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a busy and dynamic team
* A proactive, can-do attitude, full of great ideas and able to get stuff done autonomously
* Great communication skills with a passion for building strong relationships
* Excellent writing skills, especially for website and social media.
* You will have a good understanding of what digital & content marketing works well on social platforms
* Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook are essential
* Basic graphic design skills in Canva or Photoshop. - Desirable
* Experience managing a Wordpress or similar website platform - Desirable
* Full driver's license and access to car- Highly Desirable as their will be domestic travel to events required
