Job Opportunity: Company Accountant
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our client’s finance department. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare management accounts
* Oversee daily banking activities, record transactions, and manage monthly bank reconciliations and petty cash.
* Process and file purchase and expense invoices, handle supplier payments, and reconcile accounts monthly.
* Manage sales invoicing, customer statements, and overdue account follow-ups.
* Prepare and file bi-monthly VAT returns and maintain compliance with relevant tax regulations.
* Execute payroll processing on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis, ensuring timely tax submissions.
* Maintain and update financial records in line with company and regulatory standards.
