a prominent name in Ireland's civil contracting sector, is seeking a Senior Planner to join their dynamic team in Kildare. Key Responsibilities
4. Project Planning :Develop detailed, resource-loaded project programmes that meet client and company objectives.Summarize key project details and communicate scope effectively to stakeholders.Prepare visual materials and resource schedules to support project planning and execution.
5. Risk Mitigation :Contribute to the project risk register and perform programme risk analysis to address potential challenges proactively.
6. Documentation & Compliance :Maintain and manage project documentation to support smooth execution.Ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal regulations across all activities.
7. Team Collaboration :Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills.Work closely with estimators to prepare bid programmes and ensure accurate costings.Support design engineers in developing temporary works design briefs and schedules.
8. Handover & Execution Support :Facilitate effective handovers between teams, ensuring clarity of scope and responsibilities.Provide ongoing feedback and support to project teams during execution.
Requirements
9. Experience :Prior experience in civil engineering contracting, ideally at Agent level.Practical knowledge of planning techniques for tendering and live projects.
10. Technical Skills :Strong understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of project planning.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and planning software.
11. Personal Attributes :Excellent organizational and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
