We are looking for experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team in Ford in Sandyford. Our well-trained staff provide the highest level of service to all our customer brands. We are located in the Sandyford Business District, near the Stillorgan Luas station. We work in modern bright offices and provide great support and guidance for our teams ensuring they are as up to date as possible with training in the latest technologies and systems.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
* Assist the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service department.
* Coordinate service bookings, job allocation, and workshop scheduling.
* Ensure a high level of customer service, handling inquiries and resolving complaints efficiently.
* Support technicians with job progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Monitor workflow, productivity, and efficiency within the service team.
* Maintain accurate records of service jobs, warranty claims, and invoicing.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and manufacturer standards.
* Assist with reporting, cost control, and achieving departmental targets.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have
* Previous experience in a service advisor, workshop controller, or assistant service manager role (motor industry preferred).
* Strong knowledge of automotive service processes and customer care standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
* Ability to manage workloads, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* IT literacy (DMS systems, booking software, MS Office).
* Leadership potential able to motivate and support a team.
* A full valid drivers license is usually required.
