Job Title: Production Control Coordinator
Reports: Production Controller
Location: Terex MDS
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am to 2pm.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this dynamic and team-focused role, you’ll work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure the smooth flow of production control processes. Your contributions will help maintain high standards and keep projects on track.
* Champion and maintain our process control management system, aligning with business goals and quality standards.
* Support and maintain production scheduling systems to help the team measure and meet performance benchmarks.
* Collaborate with leadership to identify and flag any trends that may need further attention or support.
* Foster open communication and awareness across departments by supporting the rollout of process improvements (e.g. Engineering Change Orders and Production Change Requests).
* Assist with planning and scheduling tasks—including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) data input, forecast entry, and specification changes—ensuring teams are aligned and empowered.
* Take shared responsibility for inventory management and reporting with the Production Controller.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers, representing MDS in global meetings and maintaining strong, respectful relationships.
* Prepare and share accurate data for weekly and monthly updates—keeping everyone informed and supported.
* Take an active role in 5S and steel audits, contributing to operational excellence.
* Step into a leadership-support role as needed, including deputising for the Production Controller during key meetings.
* Be a positive presence in our “clear to build” meetings, working alongside design, purchasing, and engineering team members.
* Provide thoughtful support to Health & Safety administration in collaboration with the Senior HSE Advisor.
