ROLE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
* ESTA LTD is a leading provider of industrial automation solutions, specialising in the manufacture of bespoke electrical control assemblies and site installations. We are looking to hire an experienced and enthusiastic Electrical Panel Builder/ Assembly Technician to work as part of a growing team in delivering custom automated equipment for many of the world's leading Chemical, Brewery, Medical Device and Life Science companies. The role is highly versatile in a clean and professional environment and offers the opportunity to develop and expand upon existing experience. The role will have a 6-month probation period.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mechanical assembly of components, sub-systems and assemblies.
Work to issued design packs and drawings detailing the project requirements for each electrical control panel or distribution system build.
Electrical wiring of control systems to internal and/or customer specifications
Installation of pneumatic components, pipework, and equipment in accordance with pneumatic diagrams.
Use all necessary tools and equipment required during the project build
To undertake installations at customer premises- field wiring of machines, commissioning of systems, site acceptance testing.
Configure control equipment according to process requirements i.e. VSD's, Process Equipment, condition/monitoring equipment.
To always act in a professional manner while representing our company in client sites

EXPERIENCE:
* Qualified electrician or degree in relevant electrical/mechatronics discipline.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in industry with a focus on electrical control systems.
* Ability to follow and understand electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams.
* An exceptional eye for detail, neatness and the ability to improved methods of work.
* Demonstrate a professional approach to work.
* Strong understanding of industrial control systems,
* Ability to show initiative and finish out on assigned tasks.
* Be able to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team.
* Communication Skills- Must be fluent in both written and verbal English
* Proven experience wiring control panels, PLC, Servo/Stepper motors and controls etc.
* Experience in industrial and electrical systems/automation and controls systems
* Ability to guide apprentice Electricians on their day-to-day tasks.
* Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and applicable regulations and guidelines.
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
* Hardworking, reliable, honest and a good timekeeper.
* Full driver's license.
* Legal to work in Ireland.
