Communication & Internal Engagement

* Keeping the ECDS section of the HUB (internal intranet) up to date with relevant news and information

* Managing incoming post and ensuring referrals received by mail are processed and filed correctly
* Responding to information requests by issuing leaflets, referral forms, and other materials to clients and partner agencies

Administrative & Operational Support

* Preparing and distributing annual induction packs to ECDS centres
* Providing administrative support for grant applications in collaboration with the Senior Services Manager and Head of Operations
* Assisting with scheduling meetings (including ECDS Manager meetings) and taking accurate, timely minutes
* Managing petty cash systems for ECDS centres, including oversight, reconciliation, and end-of-month submissions
* Overseeing the application process for School Meals grants

Records Management & General Administration

* Maintaining well-organised electronic and hard-copy filing systems in line with organisational policies
* Carrying out general office administration duties such as typing correspondence, scheduling appointments, photocopying, binding, and filing
* Supporting the ECDS team with any other reasonable administrative duties as required

* Handles confidential information with care and professionalism

* Shares our values and has a genuine interest in working for a charity
* Holds a full, clean driving licence and has access to a car
, as travel between centres is an essential part of the role

Previous experience in an administrative role particularly within a charity, education, health, or social care setting is desirable, but we're most interested in your skills, attitude, and willingness to learn.

Why Join Us?

* Be part of a welcoming and supportive team
* Do meaningful work that makes a real difference to children and families
* Gain experience across a range of services and systems
