Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Tramore. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Club Manager with daily operations, leading a small on-the-ground team, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This role is ideal for candidates coming from a strong retail or hospitality background, such as Assistant Managers from supermarkets, discount retailers, phone stores, or hotels. If you have a passion for delivering 5-star customer service, embracing new initiatives, and contributing to operational improvements, we would love to hear from you.

About the Role:

* Support the Manager in the smooth day-to-day running of the venue

* Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer queries are handled professionally

* Promote clear and consistent communication between team and management

* Recruit, motivate, and retain team members

* Embrace new initiatives and contribute to operational improvements

* Handle basic club administration and ensure policy compliance

* Drive customer satisfaction while ensuring responsible engagement with services

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

* Support the Manager in achieving business objectives and goals

* Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure that all customer interactions are professional and friendly

* Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

* Lead and motivate a small team to achieve sales and customer service targets

* Contribute to the development of new initiatives and operational improvements

* Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations

* Monitor and report on sales, customer feedback, and other key performance indicators

What We're Looking For:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in an Assistant Manager role (retail or hospitality)

* Strong organisational and planning skills

* Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools and quick to learn in-house systems

* Ability to coach and support team members on the job

* Calm, professional approach to challenges or customer concerns

* Flexible, team-focused attitude with a hands-on approach
