We are working with an esteemed international firm who are looking for an Associate Solicitor to join their Planning & Infrastructure department within their Dublin office.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Planning team, working on a range of planning and consenting matters. The candidate's role will see them engaging in duties, such as advising clients on regulatory consents, reviewing Environmental Impact Assessment Reports and Natura Impact statements for projects, and conducting planning and environmental due diligence to assist on M&A projects.
The candidate will undertake senior-level duties, such as supervising and mentoring junior members of staff. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to get involved in business development initiatives, while maintaining strong relationships with the firm's client base.
Essential Criteria
* 5+ PQE;
* Strong background in planning and consenting matters in a medium to large commercial firm;
* Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness;
* Outstanding academics;
* Technically excellent;
* Negotiation skills;
* Willingness to become involved in business development;
* Ability to work independently and as a team.
