We are looking for a #Senior Dev Ops Engineer with strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, automation, and optimization to support and enhance our client's Archer and SAS ecosystems within the Chief Risk Office (CRO).
The ideal candidate will assess the current Dev Ops landscape, identify improvement opportunities, and implement scalable, secure, and efficient deployment pipelines across both on-prem and cloud environments.
Role: Senior Dev Ops Engineer Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)Contract: 06-12months with possible extensions Key Responsibilities
• Assess the current CI/CD setup for Archer and SAS applications and identify optimization opportunities.
• Design, implement, and enhance end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to improve build, test, and deployment automation.
• Integrate version control, build tools, testing frameworks, and deployment automation into a unified Dev Ops workflow.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and risk technology teams to ensure seamless deployments across environments.
• Automate environment provisioning, configuration, and application deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and rollback mechanisms to ensure pipeline reliability and application stability.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's security and governance policies in all Dev Ops processes.
• Provide best practice guidance and Dev Ops mentorship to internal technology teams.________________________________________Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Build & Release Engineering, or Automation roles.
• Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, or Bamboo.
• Strong experience with Archer (RSA) and/or SAS systems – deployment, configuration, and integration with Dev Ops toolchains.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Power Shell, Bash, Groovy).
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with source code management (Git, Bitbucket), artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory), and monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Deep understanding of release management, change control, and security standards in a regulated banking environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.________________________________________Good to Have

• Knowledge of Archer deployment automation and SAS model lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with risk management or regulatory technology platforms.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Dev Ops Engineer, Azure Dev Ops Expert, Jenkins Certified Engineer, etc.) are a plus.
