Production Leadership Role
This role oversees the production process ensuring targets are met safely efficiently and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and control production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
* Manage day-to-day operations including workforce performance machinery and material flow.
* Monitor KPIs output efficiency downtime scrap and OEE and implement corrective actions.
* Evaluate and maintain health safety quality and environmental standards.
* Lead train and motivate the production team to achieve performance targets.
* Work with supply chain maintenance and quality departments for smooth workflow.
* Drive lean manufacturing continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
* Implement budgets for labour materials and overhead costs.
* Prepare reports for senior management on production performance and improvement plans.
Required Skills
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing Six Sigma Kaizen or similar methodologies.
* Good understanding of production planning scheduling and resource allocation.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
* Ability to interpret production data and apply analytical thinking.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
