Job Description
CubeMatch is seeking an innovative ML, Agentic AI & Intelligent Systems Engineer to design, build, and deploy next‑generation AI solutions with a focus on agentic AI, multi‑agent systems, intelligent automation, and large language model (LLM) technologies. This role will be responsible for engineering autonomous and semi‑autonomous AI agents, developing scalable AI‑powered applications, and shaping enterprise AI architecture to deliver secure, transparent and production‑ready solutions. The successful candidate will work across the full AI product lifecycle—from problem definition and solution design through deployment, monitoring, and optimisation—leveraging modern AI platforms and cloud‑native technologies. Working closely with data scientists, engineers, architects and business stakeholders, they will contribute to the development of scalable AI frameworks, intelligent workflows and responsible AI practices that drive innovation, operational efficiency and enhanced customer and colleague experiences across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Design and engineer agentic AI systems, including single Agent and multi‑agent architectures capable of reasoning, planning, tool usage and task orchestration.
Develop AI agents that integrate LLMs with enterprise data, APIs and workflows, enabling autonomous decision support and process automation.
Implement safeguards, grounding strategies and evaluation mechanisms to ensure safe, reliable and explainable agent behaviour.
AI & LLM Architecture
Design end‑to‑end AI solution architectures, covering data ingestion, embeddings, vector stores, orchestration layers, inference, monitoring and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
Architect scalable LLM‑based solutions using retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), tool/function calling, prompt pipelines and memory patterns.
Contribute to defining ClientsAI reference architectures and best practices.
AI Platform
Build and deploy AI solutions using Microsoft Co‑pilot Studio, including custom co‑pilots and agent extensions.
Leverage AWS Bedrock, SageMaker and related AWS services to develop, experiment and operationalise AI use cases.
Support integration of AI agents into enterprise applications, platforms and workflows.
Model Development & ML Ops
Develop, evaluate and fine‑tune ML and AI models, including traditional ML, deep learning and GenAI models.
Deploy AI solutions using ML Ops / LLM Ops best practices, including versioning, monitoring, drift detection and retraining strategies.
Monitor production AI systems for performance, reliability, bias and compliance.
Data, Governance & Responsible AI
Collaborate with data and governance teams to ensure high‑quality, well‑governed data underpins AI solutions.
Design and implement AI systems aligned with ethical AI, fairness, privacy and regulatory requirements.
Produce clear documentation covering architectures, agent behaviour, risks and controls.
Collaboration & Capability Building
Work closely with software engineers to embed AI capabilities into production systems.
Mentor and coach less‑experienced colleagues in AI engineering and agentic AI concepts.
Contribute to the D&A Community of Practice, internal showcases and capability building initiatives.

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience as an ML/AI Engineer or in a related role delivering production AI solutions.
Strong proficiency in Python and experience translating prototypes into production‑ready systems.
Solid understanding of AI/ML system design, including data pipelines, model lifecycle management and deployment patterns.
Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based AI platforms, preferably AWS, including MLOps practices.
Strong understanding of model monitoring, drift, dependencies and operational risk.
Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Experience designing or building agentic AI systems, AI assistants or autonomous workflows.
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Co‑pilot Studio and/or Azure AI Foundry.
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases and tool‑calling patterns.
Familiarity with GenAI governance, evaluation frameworks and responsible AI controls.
Experience in banking or financial services, or similarly regulated environments.
Exposure to distributed data processing, APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
