OverviewWe are seeking a Quality Engineer for our client, a leading manufacturing company in County Cork. The successful candidate will support the production of high-quality heating products through the development, implementation, and improvement of quality systems and processes. Working closely with Manufacturing, R&D, and Production teams, you will ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and promote a strong culture of quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport New Product Introductions (NPI) and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).Develop and maintain Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, and Documentation.Analyse quality data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.Conduct internal and supplier audits and support ISO 9001 compliance.Manage non-conformances, supplier returns, and CAPA activities.Collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical and quality issues.Drive continuous improvement and promote 5S and Lean initiatives.Track and report Quality KPIs and support regulatory audits.Skills & ExperienceDegree/Diploma in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.Experience in manufacturing quality systems, ISO 9001, and root cause analysis.Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and ERP systems.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Location of employment is in a rural location roughly halfway from Cork City to Killarney, your own vehicle is essential.
