Job Summary
The successful Site Manager/Foreman will oversee one of the largest construction projects in County Kerry, working closely with staff and engineers to ensure timely completion within budget. This position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage daily and weekly work plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Manage Work Plans: Align daily and weekly tasks with project timelines, coordinating plant, labor, and materials to minimize delays.
* Optimize Operations: Sequence site activities efficiently, including excavation, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pours.
* Manage Plant and Resources: Plan equipment movement, allocate tasks to the workforce, and maintain logs for efficient deployment.
* Ensure Quality and Safety: Implement RAMS and site-specific safety requirements, maintaining design standards and specifications.
* Record and Report Progress: Capture work progress, workforce levels, and plant usage, reporting delays or issues to the Project Manager.
Requirements:
* 5 Years' Experience: Planning, directing, and coordinating projects on site, with a related construction qualification (HNC, Degree, or similar).
* Strong IT and Communication Skills: Effective communication and IT skills are essential for success in this role.
