The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and commercially focused Sales Representative to support and grow our customer base across the West / North West of Ireland. Based in our Ballyhaunis site, the successful candidate will be responsible for sales development, account management, customer support, and sales administration, working closely with the Sales Director and wider commercial team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
While reporting to the National Sales Manager and overall accountability to the Sales Director, the position will be primarily based in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo. Some flexibility will be required to support other subsidiaries as needed.
Duties will include:
* Actively promote and sell company products across the West / North West of Ireland
* Manage and develop existing customer accounts while identifying new sales opportunities
* Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts
* Price pallets and crates using a bespoke pricing programme
* Provide ongoing customer management and support, ensuring a high level of service
* Make and receive sales calls and respond to client email queries in a timely and professional manner
* Maintain accurate records and reporting using the CRM database, ensuring all information is kept up to date
* Prepare and complete monthly sales reports using Excel
* Prepare and analyse PDS specifications as required
* Carry out other ad hoc sales and administrative duties as required
Skills and Experience:
* A primary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline is desirable
* Proven ability to identify, develop, and exploit new sales opportunities with potential customers
* Strong commercial awareness with a clear understanding of business dynamics
* A dynamic and motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
* Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
* Strong IT proficiency, with experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
* Highly organised with strong administrative skills and attention to detail
