Our client is a leading academic teaching hospital with over 550 beds including a comprehensive adult inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging service covering imaging modalities such as General Radiology, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine - diagnostic, and fluoroscopy as well as a strong research tradition and is currently involved in many clinical trials and research projects.
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Radiographer in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) service for a permanent position.
As a Senior Radiographer in MRI, you will, in conjunction with the Clinical Specialist Radiographer work effectively as part of a a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering a high quality efficient MRI service which currently encompasses a 1.5T Siemens Aera Scanner and a 3T Siemens Lumina Scanner
Responsibilities
Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the MRI service.
Contribute to delivering a high-quality, efficient MRI service using a 1.5T Siemens Aera Scanner and a 3T Siemens Lumina Scanner.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification as a Radiographer and CORU registration or recognition of qualifications
A minimum of 3 years post qualification clinical experience
A recognised postgraduate course in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
Supervisory skills
Demonstrate a good knowledge of MRI safety
Demonstrate ability to take initiative and to be appropriately self-directed
A flexible approach to work
