Overview:
We are currently seeking a Yard Operator to join our team at Ballycoolin.
As a Yard Operator you will be responsible for general yard operations, whilst ensuring the highest level of safety and housekeeping standards are adhered to.
More about what you will do…
* Adhere to and promote the highest level of safety standards whilst carrying out daily Health & Safety and Environmental Inspections.
* Loading of bitumen emulsion from storage tanks into road tankers
* Undertake Weighbridge duties, including but not limited to processing dockets.
* Operate Telehandler to load and unload materials.
* Drive Shunter truck to move road tankers in yard.
* General labourer duties and the operation of power hand tools i.e., grinder, drill & reciprocating saws.
* Adhere to and promote the highest level of safety standards whilst carry out daily Health & Safety and Environmental Inspections
* Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in the plant and yard.
* To undertake any other reasonable duties as necessitated by your function.
* Be flexible to meet business needs when required
What we need from you…
* Experience in Process or Manufacturing Industries an advantage
* Experience in Laboratory testing of materials an advantage
* Familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Management System
* Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of work.
* Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
* Show commitment and a positive attitude to work.
* Good verbal and written English due to nature of the role
* Good interpersonal skills
