With an annual turnover of approximately €50–60 million, the company has built a strong reputation for reliability, quality, and hands‑on project delivery. They are expanding their senior leadership team to strengthen project governance and long‑term growth.
Role Overview
The Contracts Manager will oversee the delivery of multiple projects in the Dublin region, taking full responsibility for programme, cost, quality, and client satisfaction. Reporting to the Construction Director, this is a senior leadership role that combines operational and commercial oversight.
You will ensure that each project meets its contractual, financial, and safety obligations, while building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the delivery of multiple construction projects (typically €10–€40 million each) across residential, commercial, and mixed‑use sectors.
* Provide leadership to project teams — Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and QSs — ensuring consistent performance and high standards.
* Manage and coordinate project programmes, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery within contractual requirements.
* Oversee contract administration and commercial management, including procurement, valuations, cost forecasting, and change control.
* Ensure full compliance with building regulations, quality standards, and health & safety policies.
* Liaise with design teams, consultants, and clients to resolve technical or contractual issues.
* Lead progress and financial meetings, ensuring accurate reporting to senior management.
* Support and mentor site and project management staff, fostering a positive, team‑oriented culture.
* Drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and consistency across multiple sites.
* Represent the company in client and stakeholder meetings, promoting professionalism and trust.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
* 8+ years’ experience in a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager role within a main contractor environment.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a combined value of €50m+.
* Strong contractual understanding (GCCC, RIAI, or Design & Build contracts).
* Excellent leadership and people management skills — able to build, guide, and inspire project teams.
* Strong commercial awareness and cost control experience.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client‑facing skills.
* Deep understanding of Irish construction practices, regulations, and delivery standards.
