Senior SAP FI Consultant Long Term Day Rate Contact Cork/Hrbrid
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI Consultant to provide dedicated support and backfill within an established SAP ERP environment. The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on configuration expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and will play a key role in supporting ongoing business operations, system enhancements, and cross-functional integration activities.
This role requires a solid understanding of core SAP Finance processes, with particular focus on costing, billing, and integration with logistics and supply chain modules.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure and support SAP FI modules within an SAP ERP environment
* Provide hands-on expertise in Financial Accounting processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting
* Support costing and billing processes in alignment with business requirements
* Ensure effective integration between SAP FI and Logistics / Supply Chain modules (e.g. MM, SD)
* Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, and IT
* Support system testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
* Contribute to documentation of functional specifications and configuration design
* Assist with system improvements, upgrades, and enhancements as required
Required Experience
* Minimum 7 years' hands-on SAP FI configuration experience within SAP ERP
* Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting processes and best practices
* Proven experience in costing and billing configuration
* Demonstrated experience integrating SAP FI with Logistics and Supply Chain modules
* Experience supporting business users and resolving functional issues
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable
* Experience working in complex enterprise environments
* Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
* Experience in project-based and support roles
* Strong stakeholder communication skills
