Role Purpose:
Within the role of a Basic Radiographer at Blackrock Clinic you will be part of a large cross functional team and:
* Undertake diagnostic examinations as required
* Maintain a high standard of patient care
* Ensure the three principles of radiation protection, namely justification, optimization (ALARA) and dose constraints / limits are adhered to
* Be familiar with and adhere to SI No. 478 of 2002
* Take part in oncall services and extended working day as required
* Whilst regularly updating your knowledge of new developments and promote awareness of these amongst colleagues.
Qualifications/Experience:
* BSc. in Radiography or equivalent
* CORU Registration (or be in the process of registration)
