Helpdesk Support Engineer (initial 6 Months, Potential for Extension/Permanent) Location: Dublin (5 Days On-Site) Salary: Competitive The Role This is a reactive, people-facing support role where your primary responsibility will be to respond to internal IT issues, often in person and ensure continuity of service for staff. You'll be walking over to desks, engaging directly with end users and managing tickets through a centralised system. You'll also be involved in more planned work, such as disaster recovery support (including Microsoft 365 recovery scenarios) and helping allocate resources efficiently to open tickets. Key Responsibilities Provide face-to-face and remote IT support to internal staff across the business Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Microsoft 365, Azure and related systems Monitor and manage incoming tickets through the helpdesk system Participate in disaster recovery processes and testing Proactively identify potential issues Key Requirements At least 1 year of experience in an IT support/helpdesk environment Experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple tasks Skills: Microsoft 365 IT Support Ticketing Communication
