Job Title: Domestic Violence Response
This role is focused on providing sensitive telephone support and coordinating daily operations in a domestic violence response context.
* About the Role:
* We're seeking a Counselling, Support & Information worker to provide emotional support, information, and advocacy to help women affected by domestic abuse build safer, violence-free lives.
* The successful candidate will be part of a team that supports internal systems, communications, HR processes, and fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Phone Support: Provide sensitive telephone support to women affected by domestic abuse.
* Daily Operations: Coordinate daily operations, including supporting internal systems, communications, HR processes, and fundraising efforts.
* Trauma-Informed Practice: Develop and implement trauma-informed practice approaches to ensure effective support for survivors.
Requirements:
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
* Education: Relevant qualifications in social work, counselling, or a related field.
* Experience: Experience working in a domestic violence response context, preferably in a Counselling, Support & Information role.
