We are currently seeking a Group Sales Strategy Director - Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) to join the team in Dean Group Head Office.

This senior leadership role drives revenue performance across all brands and markets, with a strong focus on MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences Events), Reservations, and commercial transformation initiatives.
The role operates across Ireland and Germany, providing executive-level leadership, overseeing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment between sales, reservations, revenue, marketing, and commercial technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities Commercial Sales Leadership Lead and execute the Group's commercial and sales strategy across all brands and markets.
Drive revenue growth through C E, corporate, leisure, and MICE group segments.
Oversee sales performance, pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting at Group level, partnering with Revenue and Marketing to drive commercial growth.
MICE Reservations Provide strategic leadership and optimisation for the MICE and Group business segments.
Oversee Reservations strategy, structure, and performance to maximise conversion and guest experience.
Implement best practices to ensure consistency across Ireland and Germany.
Team Leadership Stakeholder Management Lead, mentor, and support multi-disciplinary commercial sales and events teams across multiple locations.
Act as a senior point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Foster collaboration between Sales, Reservations, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations.
Project Management Transformation Lead strategic commercial projects, including process optimisation, systems implementation, and change management initiatives.
Own and manage project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to commercial goals.
Commercial Technology Strategy Act as sales liaison lead for the sales technology stack (CRM, sales systems, MICE tools, reservations platforms, reporting solutions).
Evaluate, implement, and optimise systems to improve efficiency, insight, and revenue performance.
Work closely with IT and external vendors to ensure system alignment and scalability.
Preferred Experience Skills Senior commercial or sales leadership experience within hospitality or a related sector.
Strong expertise in MICE and Reservations at both strategic and operational level.
Proven experience leading teams across multiple locations and/or countries.
Demonstrated project management experience, including complex commercial or technology initiatives.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
Experience working with commercial technology stacks (CRM, sales systems, reservations platforms, reporting tools).
Experience operating at Group or multi-brand level (desirable).
International market experience, particularly within Europe (desirable).
Change management or transformation project exposure (desirable).
