Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist
A contract opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Specialist to work in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting inspection operations on sub-assemblies, modules and systems using engineering drawings, schematics, flow diagrams, specifications and methodologies;
* Troubleshooting faults down to component level;
* Preparing samples, reagents and diluents for chemical testing of systems and modules;
* Establishing causes of malfunction and non-conformance in the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and chemical operation of systems with minimal loss of test time;
* Assisting Engineering in the validation, installation and verification of new test procedures, equipment and products;
* Overseeing and checking repair work to ensure that faults are corrected;
* Collaborating with other departments to resolve ongoing problems.
Additional Responsibilities include:
* Supporting Engineering in the design of test fixtures and modules inspection/test procedures;
* Maintaining accurate quality records and completing necessary paperwork and test data.
This role requires:
* Two years' experience in a similar manufacturing environment;
* Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist in a mechanical or electrical environment is advantageous;
* Relevant third-level qualification QQI Level 6 and above;
* Excellent PC skills and SAP experience.
