IT Support Professional

Key Responsibilities:
* Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
* Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
* Ensure all data is securely stored and protected from unauthorized access.
* Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service.
* Provide technical support across the organization, working closely with colleagues to resolve IT-related issues.
* Set up accounts for new users and manage access controls to ensure secure and efficient use of resources.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot IT-related issues through data analysis and logical problem-solving skills.
* Repair and replace equipment as necessary, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
* Test and evaluate new technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
* A relevant third-level qualification in Computer Science or Computing, preferably with experience in Linux and Windows OS environments.
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workloads effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
