FMCG Business Development Representative role:Crossell are one of Ireland's leading field marketing agencies, working with leading household brands across a variety of retail channels, including Dunnes Stores, Tesco and Supervalu. We provide dedicated permanent sales teams for leading FMCG brands. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Representative for a leading client in frozen foods.The candidate should be based in Mullingar and ideally covering Westmeath, Longford, Roscommon, Monaghan, Cavan, Meath, Offaly, and parts of Kildare.You will take responsibility for increasing our brand distribution and visibility, within all Retail formats. Ownership of merchandising within your stores as well as executing incremental shelf space and second site displays.Benefits:Lunch allowance (€10 per day)Company car22 days annual leave + 10 public holidays (paid)Bonus: Up to €2,000Key ResponsibilitiesMerchandise FMCG products for maximum visibility in-storeRotate and replenish stock (may involve some light to moderate lifting)Manage stock orders and ensure correct display complianceLiaise with store managers, field supervisors, and sales representativesConduct sales calls and place product ordersComplete accurate, timely reporting for all store visitsDrive area sales performance to achieve volume and market share growthAchieve all key trade performance indicators including volume, product distribution, promotional execution, asset placement etcBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customersDevelop and use sound commercial and financial understanding of business to generate business proposals and solutions.To maintain regular calls into stores in accordance with the current journey schedule. The Field Sales Manager will assign the schedule.To monitor condition of all Client products both within the store and stockroom, ensuring that any non-functioning or damaged product is removed from sale.
